I had a Garmin Approach X40 which is a dedicated unit for golf. Vivoactive 3 is comparable to X40 or in some way better because of the larger screen. However, the battery doesn't seem to last 13 hours as claimed. At the end of 18 holes (5 hours), I was down to about 40% (started the round with 100% charged). X40 comes loaded with thousands of courses worldwide whereas, with Vivoactive, you have to download them ahead of time.answered on 2018-02-05 00:00:00
